Enjoy Staying At Holiday Inn Resort Mai Khao Beach
It tends to be a family hotel and it would suit people who want to be in the middle of the busiest beach in Phuket.The new 246-room Holiday Inn Resort Mai Khao Beach is somewhat different. Mai Khao beach is the very antithesis of Patong. One can say it is more crowded now than it was 10 years ago when the JW Marriott is the only resort in the entire 10 km of the coast. If you feel like it, and maybe I'll do it one day, you can walk from one end of the beach to the other and it will take you a few hours at least.
It's many beaches. So even though you now have more resort like the Renaissance Resort, Sala Phuket, Anantara Resort and many more - and this has all been opened in the last 10 years - despite this, the beach is still very empty. All the resorts along Mai Khao is a good man - no 2 here! Well, there is one oddity Phuket - Seaside Cottages, a collection of wooden and bamboo huts and concrete were a little too, a few trees, a hammock and a small restaurant right on the beach. Strange because the land is worth the money and this is Malcolm from the UK run several small bungalows!Anyway ... the brand new Holiday Inn Resort just opened a week ago. I actually called and invited to the opening, but I guess they did not know I had to run a dive shop .. and it was a friends birthday party-40 the same night! If you want to order a completely new resort, perhaps with a bed that has not been slept in yet, right on the waterfront, in heaven, and of course run by a name that can be trusted - well here you go. There are some special prices now (it was low season after all).
A great place for couples - the resort has some very nice looking pool access rooms. Also great for families - a press handout I have sent a lot of info about how great this resort for children:The new hotel distinguishes itself for its family-friendly casualties. Its Children's Suite offers privacy for both parents and children because they have their part in the suite. Children are part of the suite is equipped with a bed and a play corner equipped with flat-screen TVs, DVD players and game consoles. The Family Suite has the same concept as the Kids Suite, but with a larger room which connects to a room specially designed for children. The stylish designed children's rooms equipped with children bathtub, vanity table and toilet. To serve families with teenagers, the resort offers a Teen Zone for the kids to relax and entertain themselves. There is also a kids club where younger children can have fun while their parents can pursue other interests and activities within the resort.Holiday Inn Resort Mai Khao Beach is a place to relax and avoid the crowds - you should note that as all the resorts are more isolated, you will not have a great choice for a meal.
If I stay here I will rent a car. Can go to Phuket Town in 45 minutes and you can drive over the bridge and into Phang Nga in a few minutes, because the Mai Khao beach just north of the island. A tour of Phang Nga Bay is not to be missed if you are staying in Phuket. We will do this again in the near future! See you in Phuket!
